Tenant Services

Below are some of the typical questions asked during the rental process. If you have other questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to help you find the perfect place to rent!

I'm interested in a property. When can I view it?

We try to be as flexible as possible in our showing times. We understand that each person has their own schedule and we try to work with you on a time that is most convenient for you. Call or e-mail us today to set up a showing.

Can I have a pet?

Each owner has their own pet policy when it comes to allowing pets. Some owners will allow you to pay an extra security deposit, but may have restrictions on what types or sizes of pets they will allow. The property listing will indicate whether pets are accepted and under what conditions. If you aren't sure, call or e-mail us for property specific pet policies.

What if I have bad credit?

Credit issues can definitely affect your approval for any rental property although we don't check credit for all rental properties. Solid rental references, a clear criminal/eviction background, and solid income can help balance marginal credit ratings.  Our owners make the final decision as to whether or not you will be approved for one of our properties. What might be bad credit to one owner may not be as much of an issue to another. We can't guarantee whether or not you would be approved for one of our rentals because we do not make the final decision.

Besides credit, what else do you consider in the application process?

We try to give our owners as much information as we can about any potential tenants. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Eviction Search
  • Criminal Background Checks
  • Previous Rental History
  • Employment Verification

As we mentioned above, we do not make the final decision for your application, so we can't guarantee as to how the owner will react to certain situations.

Do I have to have renter's insurance?

We strongly encourage all of our tenants to get a renter's policy. It protects you and your valuables, since an owner's policy usually only covers the home. Renter's polices are typically very affordable. See our attachment for more information.
